With Toyota’s 60th anniversary in the United States coming up, we’ve spent countless hours this year telling the story of Toyota in North America.
 
Now, there’s a website that puts it all in perspective.
 
Introducing Toyota.com/us, a comprehensive and eye-catching look at Toyota’s commitment to the United States. From manufacturing to research and development to a timeline documenting Toyota’s journey from its first dealership in Hollywood, California, in 1957 to its new headquarters in Plano, Texas. It’s all there.
 
Here are just a few things you’ll learn from the site:
  • Toyota has a direct investment of $23.4 billion in the United States.
  • Since 2009, Toyota has received more patents than any other automaker.
  • Since 1986, more than 25 million vehicles have rolled off the lines at Toyota’s U.S. manufacturing plants. 
And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg.
