So there’s this thing called virtual reality. You may have heard of it. It’s like, you know, real, but not really real. You wear special goggles and then you’re suddenly immersed in an alternate world. But you’re not really there. You’re here. But to you, you’re there.
OK, we’ve all heard of VR, so that little “explanation” above might not be needed. But here are three things that are kind of awesome about this emerging technology:
- VR has a business case for Toyota.
- Toyota has a VR studio in Torrance, where they are working on programs that will help design and sell cars.
- That studio will move to Plano later this year.
So we heard all that, and we had to check it out. Seemed like it would be a lot of fun, and we might learn some stuff. Turns out it was, and we did.
You can, too.

And just one other thing: If you want more information on Toyota's VR studio, you can reach out to today's co-star, Alex Solano at email@example.com until Sept. 28. After that, reach out to Philip Ryan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
