Nied to Know: Plano Campus Update

What’s changed at our new North American headquarters? Everything. Take a look.

June 06, 2017
Holding Court -- The courtyard in the center of campus serves as a perfect place to take a stroll or hold a meeting.

In January 2016, we filmed the very first Nied to Know at the construction site of our new North American headquarters in Plano, Texas.
What we saw that day was striking. Among the building frames and giant cement slabs, you could see the campus taking shape. But it was hard to square that site with what we’d seen in artist’s renderings. The main courtyard was filled with construction equipment, hardhat workers and rainwater swamps.
Fast forward to mid-May 2017, just three days after some team members began moving into the completed areas. We wanted to give you an update, complete with a guided tour from Real Estate and Facilities General Manager Doug Beebe. What we saw was more than striking. It was shocking. In a great way.
Even as construction continues on the rest of the campus (it should all wrap up by the end of 2017), the two main buildings – E1 and W1 – are open for business. Check it out. To watch Nied to Know: Plano Campus Update, just click here.
